- Unfortunately, this software flaw was detected in both 'International' version of SQL Server v. 6.5 KI is using, and 'original' U.S. version. Microsoft did confirm a presence of such software flaw first detected by KI.
- SQL Server in version 7.0 which was recommended by Microsoft for
substitution of version 6.5, is considered as not having the same type of software flaw. However, at the end of July, 2000 KI has managed to detect a severe software flaw in version 7.0 a presence of which was confirmed by Microsoft. This flaw relates to Database data protection features and under certain conditions permits to get non-authorized access to the Database.
