der IE 5.0 ändert sein internes Objekt-Modell, wenn das Element über eine explizit gesetzte margin-Eigenschaft verfügt. Kaum ist sie da, "sieht" er auch das padding.
das hingegen war mir noch nicht bekannt - danke für den tipp.
