na was heißt validiert,
Validieren heisst im vorliegenden Kontext, zu ueberpruefen, dass HTML und CSS keine Fehler enthalten.
also verwendest Du dazu ein bestimmtes Tool?

Es wurden keine Fehler im Visual Studio angezeigt, also nicht im
C#-Code, dann würde es ja eh nicht laufen, und auch nicht im aspx-Code,
der ja letztendlich dann als html.Code zur Laufzeit erzeugt wird...
Es interessiert bei einem clientseitigen Problem erst mal vorrangig der Code, der im Browser ankommt.
