Die HTML5-Spec ist da schon sehr deutlich:
“The address element represents the contact information for its nearest article or body element ancestor. […] The address element must not contain information other than contact information.”
Also address nur für die Adresse des Seiten-/Artikelautors, nicht für Adressen anderer. Das war auch schon in HTML 4.01 so.
“The address element must not be used to represent arbitrary addresses (e.g. postal addresses), unless those addresses are in fact the relevant contact information. (The p element is the appropriate element for marking up postal addresses in general.)”
Und was spricht da nun dagegen, z.B. die Kontaktinformationen für die einzelnen Filialen eines Unternehmes aufzulisten?
