nö, von jQuery bekommst Du grundsätzlich ein Wrapped Set.
Ich erinnere mich da dunkel an überladene Methoden, die unterschiedliche Typen zurückgeben, je nachdem, mit was für Parametern sie aufgerufen werden.
Aber die Relevanz von jQuery sollte heutzutage eigentlich gegen null gehen.
